Andong. Part 1

During that  short period when I was in Korea, I saw a lot though)
One of the first trip was a excursion to Andong - traditional Korean village.
I got plenty of unforgettable impressions after visiting Andong.
If you'll be in Korea, go there and, *I'm sure!!* you won't regret!!

Andong is not so far from Daegu. We went there as international students of KNU =)
First of all, we visited Museum. It was one disadvantage of this museum - poor English translation. Meanwhile, most of students didn't speak English at all((
Bur still, if you wanna know traditional Korean culture, a trip to Andong is a must have!!
I took some pics in the  museum.

!!!!

I post to share my happiness of being chosen as one of 50 bloggers for Korea blog !! It's a great honour for me!!
Well, I'll do my best!!

20th anniversary of Korea-Russia bilateral relations

Korea-P\Russia bilateral relations was established in 1990.
There was a range of events devoted to this date in different Russian and Korean cities. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend any event when I was in Korea=(
So, I wanna tell you how it was in Russia, in my native Novosibirsk =)
2-5.06 was days of Korean culture: a festival of Korean movies (Gwasok scandal, etc), thaekwondo, Korean traditional drums and "Miji" group were included in the program of festival.

It was impressive! There are a lot of children in Russia who fond of Taekwondo. They also were participants of the event

"Miji" ensemble presented their album "Challenge".

Traditional dance

And drums

there was plenty of comments to reports on this event in Novosibirsk site~~ Everyone who attended it, was impressed by those professional sportsmen of taekwondo, enjoyed melodious compositions performed by MIJI and Korean traditional drums=) Btw, this drum players are   rather famous not only in Novosibirsk~

My study in Korea

I've experienced what is to be a student in Korean Univirsity))
I want to share my experience with you~

Well, I was an exchange student in Kyungbook National University
It is its main campus=)
Before going to KNU i surfed the net to find more info about it. I was surprised but its size!!=) It's really like a student town.
The most I like in KNU are ponds:

The first one is located near dorms, and the second- in the center.
This is Hwamok-gwan, the dorm where i lived=) To enter is not so easy!! They have special system, that skans your wrist)) the same system in cafeteria - enter your code, verify that is you and-...welcome)) i'll devote a special post to university food=)
Hwamok-gwan is a female dorm, so:
No exceptions!!
